Why Chai

What can I say; I’ve succumbed to the world of Blogging! Why?? I’m amazed on a daily basis, if not a minute by minute basis by the wondrous, mysterious and somewhat chaotic and whimsical thing they call life! Mine mostly, enhanced much more so with the ongoing and interactions of everyone I meet and come across every day.  They and their actions, sayings, reactions, expressions add to the daily laughter, comfort and amusement to that mess of a description of life I had earlier.  

 The reason I chose to call this blog Chai Chatter is simple.  I read a description somewhere that Chai is a “ beverage with no rules, no ritual, just a warm and friendly casualness that embraces all it comes into contact with” ….”Just an easy going rhythm that flows from one day to the next, enriching lives as it moves along.”  I couldn’t have thought of a better way to capture the epitome of what Chai time was growing up and even now.

Sitting around the coffee table , patio outside or the coffee or chai lounge brings people from all walks of life together to sit and share how there day is going, what funny or interesting story they heard today, to see how you and you and you are doing ~ a chance to connect with a friend you haven’t seen in a while, or an excuse to become friends with someone for that moment ~ stories, thoughts , laughter to be shared with “no rules, no ritual, just  warm and friendly casualness”.
